Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
I-95 Accidents (i-95accidents.com) reports traffic crashes along Interstate 95. You can use the whole site without creating an account or giving us your name, email or phone number. This page explains the limited information that is collected when you visit and who collects it.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, the time of your visit, your browser and device type, the website that referred you, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use these reports in aggregate; we do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Google processes this information under its own policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, including your IP address, browser and the page requested. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Maps, cameras and other content loaded from other services
Some parts of a page load directly from other providers, which receive your IP address and browser information when your browser requests them:
- Maps: map images come from OpenStreetMap's tile servers, and the map software (Leaflet) is loaded from unpkg.com.
- Traffic cameras: when you press play, the video streams directly from the state transportation department that runs the camera (for example, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration's CHART system or the Delaware Department of Transportation), and the video player is loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com.
- Historical photos on our history page are stored on our own servers.
Information stored in your browser
Besides the Google Analytics cookies described above, the site saves one preference in your browser's local storage: the state you last chose in the homepage filter, so it is still selected when you come back. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Crash reports on this site
Crash reports are generated automatically from traffic data provided by TomTom. They describe where and when a crash was reported on the highway. They do not include the names, vehicles or other personal details of anyone involved.
Links to other websites and advertising
Some pages about crashes in Florida include an advertisement for Linder Diaz Law, a law firm. If you call the firm or
follow a link to its website, the firm's own privacy practices apply; we do not receive the information you give it.
Links to the firm's website include tags (such as utm_source=i-95accidents) that tell the firm the visit
came from this site. We also link to news outlets, government agencies and other sites that have their own privacy
policies.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site collects or uses information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
